Review: Weight Loss with Habiutal Meal Replacement

I lost a few stone before having my youngest son, but then after he was born, it certainly found me again! I have been trying to take steps to get healthier and lose weight, so I have more energy and feel better about myself. Running around after three children and working full-time is no joke! I have tried different ‘diets’ and things in the past, so feel I am in a good position to be able to offer a review of Habitual, which has a range of products and plans to help people to lose weight.

Habitual offers a range of meal replacement products, including soups, shakes, and porridges, designed to provide complete nutrition for individuals seeking convenient and balanced meal options. Each meal is high in protein (19g+), contains 29 essential vitamins and minerals, and is approximately 200kcal, aiming to support weight loss and nutritional balance.

Product Range

I have just been trying out the meal replacement packs, but there are options for weight loss, including an app, GLP-1 and free gym memberships. The full range of products is vast, but I have been trying the 7 day tester pack, which includes:

  • Soups: Flavors such as Green Soup and Carrot Soup.
  • Shakes: Varieties include Vanilla, Chocolate, Strawberry, Caramel, and Spiced Chai Latte.
  • Porridges: Options like Morning Porridge and Vegan Banana Porridge.

I know that meal replacement packs aren’t for everyone, but with a busy family life, knowing what I am going to be eating and it’s simple and quick, makes such a difference. Meal planning, when the rest of the family want something different to me, is one of the hardest parts about weight loss for me. So having it all planned out helps a lot. Not to mention, the shakes and soups are simple and easy to take with me on my travels and to work.

Pros

✅ Convenience: Single-serve sachets that are quick to prepare, ready in less than 2 minutes.
✅ Nutritional Content: High in protein and packed with essential vitamins and minerals. This is one of the biggest appeals to me. You aren’t eating a lot, really, but knowing that you are still getting all of the good stuff that is needed each day, gives a lot of peace of mind!
✅ Variety: Offers a diverse range of flavors catering to different preferences, including vegan options.

Cons

⚠️ Satiety Levels: Some users may find that certain products, like the shakes, are not as filling as expected.
⚠️ Taste Preferences: Individual tastes vary; while some enjoy the flavours, others might find them less appealing. I found all of the flavours nice, but I am not a particularly fussy eater.

I tried the packs for a week, and had already lost 2lbs in the first 24 hours!

I lost 5lbs all in all, which was amazing. I know you need to drink a lot of water when you are on these kinds of meal replacement packs, so I probably should have done that more, but it felt like a good kickstart to losing weight and getting ready for the summer holiday season. I found it easy to fit into my lifestyle, and let’s be honest, it works!

The Habitual Taster Box costs £20, which could cover 3 full days, or more if you want to use fewer packs each day and combine with one main meal. If you want a little introduction into this and see what you think to the flavours, then I’d definitely recommend.

Habitual’s meal replacement packs are a convenient and nutritionally balanced option for those seeking to manage their weight or incorporate quick meals into their routine. With a variety of flavours and products, including vegan choices, they cater to diverse dietary preferences. However, as experiences regarding taste and satiety may vary, so trying a taster pack first may be a good idea. If you are doing this alongside weight loss injections, then I can see the weight coming off really quickly.
